Every great story starts somewhere, and for Brandemix, it all began with a big idea and a meaningful logo representing more than our name.
Brandemix was born from a clear vision—to create brand-aligned communications that seamlessly integrate a mix of strategies and technologies to attract, align and engage the target audience. Even the spelling—BRANDEMiX—was intentionally disruptive, designed to highlight the mix of strategies and tools we bring together to create cohesive and compelling brand communications.
We included a magnet, symbolizing the strength and attraction of well-crafted branding. Representing an “E” for Engagement, it spoke to the powerful pull a strong brand could have in connecting organizations to their audiences—whether employees, candidates, or customers. This wasn’t just a design choice—it was a statement of purpose. We saw ourselves as the force that would help companies draw in the right people and retain them through meaningful, cohesive branding.
The Iconography: A Leap of Connection
Another standout element of the logo was the figure of a person leaping toward the “Mix.” This silhouette embodied connection, energy, and aspiration—qualities that have always been at the heart of Brandemix. It served as a reminder that branding is ultimately about people—the employees who make a company thrive and those who bring their new ideas and fresh potential.
Building on the Vision
The logo’s message of attracting and engaging people through a “mix” of solutions perfectly captured the spirit of our early days. From branding and employer branding to recruitment marketing to internal communications, we leveraged the power of alignment and innovation to help our clients succeed.
Twenty Years Later…
While our logo has evolved over the years, the core values it represented remain unchanged. We are still committed to crafting brand-aligned communications that resonate deeply, using the latest strategies and technologies to create meaningful connections.
One thing that did change is this: I used to say Brandemix—it rhymes with “pandemics”—because that demonstrates the exponential spread of brand strength. I haven’t said that in a while.
